Here’s the thing: life moves fast. It’s loud and tender and wildly unfiltered. And the photos that last—the ones you come back to again and again—aren’t perfect. They’re true.
My job isn’t just to pose you. It’s to see you.
To catch the in-betweens. The laughter. The hand-holding. The real, radiant stuff that makes up your actual life. That’s the good part. That’s what we’ll frame.
Around here, we choose progress over perfection. Because life doesn’t wait for clean counters or matching socks. It shows up in the crumbs, and in the chaos.
And I’ll be there—with my camera,
Chasing the light. Catching the story.
Holding time, just long enough for you to breathe it in.
So bring the noise. Bring the giggles.
Bring the love you don’t always know how to explain.
Moved to Purcellville, all the small town life vibes. Now have a new dog, three cats, a farmhouse that was built in 1910, a 20 year-old marriage, 16, 14, and a 9 year old kids, a successful photography business, and a life that I am so proud to call mine.
Just before embarking on our dream of living overseas, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Did chemo, lost my hair, the whole un-fun ordeal. Went into remission, got another chance to live in the UK in 2019. Covid hit three months into our trip, so not the best. Maybe I am not meant to live overseas? Ok Universe, message received.
Moved to Virginia post-Army, started a family--three kiddos and two dogs. Created my photo business in 2011, and mothering and creating gorgeous images just sort of took over my whole life. I needed the boost, early life with babies is a beast.
Got married, moved to Texas. My husband joined the Army, so I worked several different sales, marketing, and recruiting jobs, while navigating his deployments to Iraq. Not a great time, really. Learned a lot about myself, but really just drank too much beer and explored the Hill Country.
Attended MO State University, met my future husband, worked as a barista in the best coffee shop EVER, and got my Degree in English Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing. Very hipster millennial.
Every kind of love belongs here, and every story matters.
A photo isn’t just a photo—it’s proof that this happened.
Look closer. Hold hands. Laugh big. Feel it all.
Follow the light, chase the color, make what matters.
I believe in secondhand treasures, slow living, and homes (and people) with soul.
Breathe. Pay attention. This moment is already everything.
Zoomer the wonder dog who's been my creative assistant since the beginning of time.
My family. I could not be more proud of the life my husband and I are creating.

I still don't know how she got the amazing shots she did of our 3 rowdy boys. We will definitely be scheduling with Becky in the future and I highly recommend you plan a session with her!
